Make Me a Market is a classic trading interview market making game where candidates need to quote bid-ask spreads on facts or guesstimates. Manage your quotes, positions, and answer technical interview questions at the end.
Make Me a Market is a market-making interview simulation where you quote bid-ask spreads on estimation questions. A computer counterparty trades against exploitable quotes, while in multiplayer mode your quotes can cross with other players. After trading rounds, test your understanding with final questions about your position, maximum guaranteed loss, break-even points, and P&L calculations.
Submit your initial wide bid-ask spread representing your 95% confidence interval for the question. No spread restriction applies in this round.
Tighten your market within the configured spread constraint. The computer trades against you if your bid is above the answer (it sells) or your ask is below (it buys). In multiplayer, quotes cross with other players when one's bid exceeds another's ask.
After each round, review your trades. See how many times you bought and sold, and track your growing position. Ready up when you've reviewed the results.
Answer questions about your own trading history: What is your position? What is your maximum guaranteed loss? Can you break even? What is your P&L at given prices? Each correct answer earns leaderboard points.
